Availability

          I'm not a hard man to find (well, most of the time anyway), but time is the one inelastic commodity that most of us, alas, cannot get enough of - so its administration is of essence at all times. ALthough we try to accomodate most requests, there can be no assurances that I'll actually be available for your project - I do not command an army of translators sweating away, because we are not an agency - not yet anyway.

          My usual turnover is at about 3,000-4,000 w/day, although depending on what the text is about that has risen up to 7,000 w/day (but again, that is certainly not a number you should base your calculations on, as it is not sustainable over longer periods of time). However I have been successfully taken over really large projects heading a reliable translators' team and will do so again in the future, if need be. Scaling always presents challenges, but as the saing goes, when the going gets tough, the tough get going ...

          I'll be using Twitter for status updates in case of unavailability - so no news is good news ...
